Wordy turns movies and TV shows into bite-sized language lessons. Instead of drilling isolated word lists, you learn from over 15,000 real movie and TV clips, so every word arrives with the context, tone and body language that native speakers actually use.

Each clip becomes a short interactive lesson: watch the scene, answer a quick video quiz, and Wordy's spaced-repetition engine schedules the words you struggled with so they resurface right before you would forget them. Content is graded across CEFR levels A1 to C2, so beginners get simple everyday exchanges while advanced learners tackle fast, idiomatic dialogue.

Wordy supports 20+ languages including Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean and Chinese, and works on iOS, Android and as a Chrome extension that lets you learn from what you are already streaming. Over 300,000 learners use Wordy, and it holds a 4.8 star rating.

The app is freemium: a generous free tier covers daily lessons and core review, while an optional upgrade unlocks the full clip library and offline study.
