Information collected when you use AI Autofill:

When you use our AI Autofill feature to populate your project details, we fetch the publicly available content of the website URL you provide. This content is sent to third-party AI providers (see section 6) to generate a project description, tagline, and category suggestions. We do not store the raw website content after processing is complete.

Information collected during badge verification:

When you request badge verification, we crawl your website to check for the presence of the Shipycorn badge. This is a one-time automated check and we do not store the crawled content beyond the verification result.

3. Analytics

We use Simple Analytics for website analytics. Simple Analytics does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track individual visitors. It is fully GDPR compliant. All analytics data is aggregated and anonymous — we see page views and referrers, not you personally.

We do not use Google Analytics or any other tracking tool that collects personal data.

4. Payments & Merchant of Record

All payments on Shipycorn are processed by Polar, which acts as our Merchant of Record. This means Polar handles payment processing, invoicing, tax collection, and refunds on our behalf.

We do not store your payment information (credit card numbers, billing details). All payment data is handled directly by Polar in accordance with their own privacy policy.

5. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve our platform
• Create and manage your account
• Process your transactions (via Polar)
• Send transactional emails about your launches (via Resend)
• Generate project descriptions using AI when you use the AI Autofill feature
• Verify badge placement on your website
• Prevent abuse through rate limiting, CAPTCHA verification (Cloudflare Turnstile), and IP-based security checks
• Ensure the security of our platform
• Comply with legal obligations

6. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information with the following third-party services:

• Polar — payment processing (Merchant of Record)
• Simple Analytics — anonymous, aggregated website analytics
• Resend — transactional and marketing email delivery (receives your email address and name)
• AI providers (DeepSeek, OpenAI, Google Gemini, xAI Grok, OpenRouter) — website content processing for AI Autofill feature only. No personal data is sent to these providers; only the publicly available content of the URL you provide.
• UploadThing — file and image hosting for project logos and screenshots
• Neon — database hosting (your account data is stored on Neon-hosted PostgreSQL)
• Cloudflare Turnstile — CAPTCHA verification for spam and abuse prevention
• Discord — internal notifications only (new submissions, admin alerts). Your email or personal data is not shared with Discord.
• Ahrefs — we fetch our own domain rating for display purposes. No user data is shared.
• Google Favicons API — we fetch website favicons for display. Only the project URL domain is sent.
• For legal obligations (when required by law or to protect our rights)
• With your consent or according to your instructions

7. Cookies

Shipycorn uses only essential cookies required for authentication (keeping you logged in). We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party cookies. Simple Analytics is cookieless by design.

8. Email Communications

We send the following types of emails via Resend:

• Transactional emails: Magic link sign-in, project approval/rejection notifications, launch day notifications, and winner badge emails. These are essential to the service and cannot be unsubscribed from.
• Marketing emails: Launch reminders and promotional updates. You can unsubscribe from these at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every marketing email.
